COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT: Bailey Yelding; Cathy Barnette; John Lake; Greg Burnam arrived at 6:59 p.m.; Ron Scott; Derek Boulware; August Palumbo.

Absent: Adrienne Jones, Planning Director.

Revision to Zoning Map

Councilwoman Barnette gave an overview of the process of updating the zoning map. She said that it is an administrative action where they are authorizing the updating of the map for actions taken for the last six months. She summarized the actions taken for the last six months. She stated that this received a favorable recommendation by the Planning Commission.

Council President Palumbo opened the Public Hearing at 6:45 p.m.

Mr. Ian Walters – Green Court, TimberCreek – asked about the map on the wall regarding the dark green area and what that meant.

Mr. Jerry Williamson – Persimmon Drive, TimberCreek - stated that when they bought their property they were assured that the property behind them would be zoned residential, but in recent times that it is no longer residential but business. He asked is this written in stone the way it is now or what?

Council President Palumbo announced that the Site Preview meeting for the subdivision Magnolia Nine which was scheduled for April 14th of April has been rescheduled to April 12th at 1:00 p.m. in Council Chambers.

Council President Palumbo closed the Public Hearing at 6:56 p.m.
