I can't believe the City of Daphne, in this economical climate, would even consider setting aside $1,000,000.00 for a road that goes nowhere. I'm referring to a proposed road, North of I-10 which would intersect County Road 13 that was originally approved, as I understand it, for access to a hospital. That hospital won’t be coming in, but I understand the City of Daphne has sent out bid requests for the road anyway with construction to start no later than July 1st. One would think the City Agencies of Daphne would have learned a lesson from this past year and learned how to budget properly. Spending a million dollars of our money to build a 'Road to Nowhere" is deplorable. Stop the "Road to Nowhere!"
