From Chester McConnell

The watershed meeting should be of much interest to Timber Creek residents. Our Timber Creek subdivision is within the D'Olive Creek Watershed. The watershed plan could have a significant impact on our area. Hopefully it will be a beneficial impact, but one always has to make certain. During my career, I have been involved with over 100 watershed plans and I can tell you for certain, all watershed plans are not created equal. Unfortunately, most watershed plans I have been involved with had at least some political input that made the plans less desirable. So a word to the wise is, we need a good representation at the meeting to become informed and assure that any impacts to us are beneficial. Also, I believe people could learn much about the environmental condition of our area and how problems can be solved.
