Every Saturday I take our dog Waggy on a walk down Woodrow Lane.  He's normally a bit tired by the time we get home...

After the events of April I like to enjoy the quiet of the Lane and listen to the bird song coming from the trees we helped saved from destruction.  Of course the peace is relative as the traffic on I-10 thunders by and the curses of golfers who hooked a tee shot punctuate the morning stillness.

At the end of the lane, the tarmac runs out and the old house is "protected" from errant drivers and young partiers by the lovely new signs errected by Baldwin County.

Somebody somewhere must have issued a work order to remove those signs and start the clearance work.  I wonder who?
